This afternoon Ald. Joe Moore (49th) issued an update on the latest news regarding the murders of two men in Rogers Park last week.
The reward for information leading to the suspect’s capture stands at $20,000. Forty detectives are currently working on the case.
The cameras in the area of Loyola Park where 50th Ward resident Eliyahu Moscowitz was murdered show no trace of the suspect, believed to be the same man shown in the video walking down Sherwin Avenue before the first shooting. Police continue to review other surveillance footage, including that from the CTA.
Investigators are following up on more than 230 tips received in the case.
